VaxGen Announces Management Change
BRISBANE, Calif., July 24 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- VaxGen, Inc. (Pink Sheets: VXGN ) today announced that Kathrin U. Jansen, Ph.D., the company's Senior Vice President, Research and Development and Chief Scientific Officer, has accepted the position of Senior Vice President of Vaccine Research at Wyeth (NYSE: WYE ), and has resigned from VaxGen effective July 29, 2006. VaxGen has initiated a search for her replacement. Dr. Jansen joined VaxGen in October 2004 after having served as Executive Director of Microbial Vaccine Research for Merck Research Laboratories.About VaxGen
