Smith & Nephew PLC Announces Biomet Talks Terminated
London, UK--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)--Dec 18, 2006 -- As announced on 2nd November 2006, Smith & Nephew plc (LSE: SN, NYSE: SNN) has been in discussions with the Board of Biomet Inc. with a view to combining thetwo businesses. Smith & Nephew announces that these discussions have now been
terminated.
