PDI Announces Launch of Talent Acquisition Business Unit

(NASDAQ:PDII ), a provider of commercialization services to the biopharmaceutical industry, today announced the launch of its new Talent Acquisition business unit offering stand-alone solutions to rapidly and economically backfill openings or to expand a pharmaceutical company's internal sales force. The team is accountable for providing highly qualified pharmaceutical sales talent to enable PDI's clients to meet their strategic goals. These award-winning talent acquisition services are part of the company's newly-established PDI ON DEMAND platform, a portfolio of innovative and flexible sales solutions to address the challenges pharmaceutical companies are facing in today's marketplace.
Susanne P. Reilly, Ph.D. will head the business unit as Vice President of Talent Management. Prior to joining PDI in 2005, Ms. Reilly was a senior consultant with Applied Research Corporation, a human resources consulting firm which specializes in leadership identification, assessment and development. Her key clients were leading health care and financial services firms, including two of the top five pharmaceutical companies. Prior to Applied Research, Ms. Reilly previously held positions as the Director of Leadership Talent Management at Avaya, Inc. and Vice President of Performance Development at JP Morgan Chase. Ms. Reilly noted, "Averaging twelve years of experience, our team of highly trained professionals can manage the entire talent acquisition process or augment a client's existing capabilities. We are very excited to serve as true strategic partners, bringing expertise and focus to our client's recruiting efforts."
