Mr. Huggins will also join the Scient'x Board of Directors. Mr. Huggins played a key role in transforming Synthes into a global businesS.A.d in making significant inroads in the USA spinal market. At Synthes, Mr. Huggins developed a worldwide S.A.ding for his emphasis on the highest S.A.dards of quality, clinical awarenesS.A.d outcomes, surgeon training and the like.

From 2004 to 2006, he served as the President of Global Spine and was responsible for the eS.A.lishment and management one of the world's largest spine businesses with primary focus on product development and sales. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Huggins served as the President and Chief Operating Officer for the U.S. business. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Huggins served as the Senior Vice President of Operations. From 1994 to 1997 he served as Vice President of Operations. Mr. Huggins held prior executive positionS.A. various manufacturing companieS.A.d served as Senior Auditor for Arthur Anderson & Co. Mr. Huggins holdS.A.B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
