Flamel Technologies Announces New Micropump and Medusa Contracts, and a Research Collaboration with Pfizer
LYON, France—December 22, 2008--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Flamel Technologies (NaS.A.:FLML) today announced that it has entered into a new Micropump license agreement for a combination product with a new partner and will begin formulation work immediately. Flamel also has entered into an additional feasibility agreement involving its Medusa platform with an existing partner and work has commenced. Flamel Technologies is engaged in 17 partnered projectS.A.d is working with seven of the top-twenty pharmaceutical companies in the world, including a continuing reS.A.ch collaboration with Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE).Stephen H. Willard, Flamel's chief executive officer, commented, "We are pleased to continue to add new license agreementS.A.d projects for both our Micropump and Medusa platforms.
